About Us
Trout Unlimited is the leading conservation organization working to care for and recover rivers and streams and the trout and salmon that call them home. We bring people together to care for their rivers and help make our water cleaner and our communities healthier.
The Wisconsin Council of Trout Unlimited has over 6,000 members and supporters across the state.
As a conservation organization, the Wisconsin Council of Trout Unlimited and our 21 local Chapters:
- Care for local rivers and streams and trout populations through stream restoration projects, cleanup days, and community science programs
- Advocate for the protection of rivers and streams locally, at the state level, and in unison with national TU priorities across the country
- Partner with national TU conservation staff, local and state agencies and regional environmental organizations to implement conservation programs, with a focus on work in TU’s Priority Waters
- Mobilize the entire community to care for their waters
- Host regular events, social gatherings and local fishing outings that connect people with their rivers and streams
- Inspire the next generation with conservation education programs
We invite you to join us by attending an event, volunteering for a project, and becoming a member!
