"County Conservation Departments and TU Chapters -- Getting it Done on the Land (and Water)!"

Matt will talk about the important work done by county land and water conservation departments, highlight some partnerships between TU chapters and counties, and provide resources for TU chapters interested in strengthening their relationship with their county LWCDs.

Matt Krueger serves as the executive director of WI Land+Water, a statewide nonprofit organization that supports and advocates for county land and water conservation departments and the committees that oversee them. He is a not-as-avid-as-he-would-like-to-be trout fisherman, and is past president of the Southern Wisconsin Chapter of Trout Unlimited. He lives in Madison with his wife, daughter, and dog. He is a man of conflicted allegiances, being a proud Badger with two degrees from UW-Madison, but pulling for the NFL team that resides on the purple side of the Cheddar Curtain.
