Join us for our monthly virtual gathering.  Our April 7 discussion will feature Mike Carlson, Executive Director of Gathering Waters and Charles Carlin, Director of Strategic Initiatives for Gathering Waters. Mike and Charles are leading a broad coalition of partners in advocating for a long term reauthorization of Wisconsin's iconic public lands initiative - the Knowles Nelson Stewardship Program.

We'll get an update on advocacy efforts taking place in our State Capitol (including actions you can take to influence legislators during the budget process) and learn about the rich history of the Stewardship program.

You know those white and green "Private Lands Leased for Public Fishing" signs you see marking trout stream easements?  Those are all in place because of the KN Stewardship program. But that's not all, from public hunting and fishing lands, hiking and biking trails, boat launches, public parks, and county forests, KN Stewardship is an investment that keeps Wisconsin's outdoor recreation economy thriving.

We'll also check out all the great tools available on the new knowlesnelson.org website.
