WITU State Council Meeting

Saturday, October 2nd, 2021 - 9:00am to Saturday, October 2nd, 2021 - 2:00pm

The Wisconsin State Council will hold our Fall State Council Meeting on Sat. Oct. 2nd in Westby, Wisconsin (just North of Viroqua). 

 

 

We'll meet at 9:00 am to conduct the business of the Council.  Chapters are encouraged to send 1 or 2 representatives to the meeting.

Notice of Proposal to Change the By-Laws regarding term length of Officers:

Currently Officers are elected to serve two year terms.  Officers may serve multiple terms, except that the Council Chair may not serve more than two consecutive terms (Article III, Section 3).

We will discuss changing the Officer term to three years and limiting the Council Chair to one term.  Historically, Council Chairs have served three year terms and Council leaders feel this will provide more certainty for future volunteers.
