Watershed Access Fund
The Wisconsin Trout Unlimited Watershed Access Fund was created by the State Council to raise and distribute funds for the purpose of securing public access to trout streams in Wisconsin.
The Trout Unlimited Watershed Access Fund will be used solely for obtaining access to
coldwater resources either through direct land purchase or through obtaining easements
or leases. It is preferred that any easement obtained with account funds should be a
permanent easement.
Many of these Watershed Access Fund acquisitions become the sites for large stream restoration projects taken on by our local chapters.
